RESUMO: O livro apresenta a Unidade de Conservação do Jardim Botânico de Curitiba, o Museu Botânico Municipal, informa sobre o que são as borboletas, sua importância, desfaz alguns mitos, aborda a descoberta de uma espécie não descrita de maracujá feita no local por uma borboleta e traz dicas para cuidar da natureza. Por fim, é disponibilizado o elenco das 373 espécies de borboletas registradas vivas no local (81 delas ilustradas) e das 87 espécies de plantas constatadas realizando 126 diferentes interações de interesse ecológico reprodutivo com espécies de borboletas.
ABSTRACT: The book presents the Conservation Unit of the Botanical Garden of Curitiba, the City Botanic Museum, informs about what are the butterflies, their importance, undoes some myths, approaches the discovery of an undescribedpassion fruit species made in loco by a butterfly and brings tips to take care of nature. Finally, the cast of the 373 species of living registered butterflies (81 of them illustrated) and of the 87 stated species of plants are made available, resulting in 126 different interactions of reproductive ecological interest with butterfly species.
